Attending Regents Meeting?

The Board of Regents is meeting on the EMC campus on Sept. 23 & 24. On the agenda is consideration of Commissioner Baker's proposal for restructuring of the MUS. There will be an open session at 2:30 PM on the 23rd. The Rimrock Inn has assured us they will offer state rates to any faculty member coming to BIllings for the meeting and needing a room. The Rimrock Inn Is just across the street from the EMC campus and it is less than a five minute walk from there to the Student Union Building where the meeting will be.

MP submissions

The editors and members of the review board solicit contributions to The Montana Professor. There is growing evidence that MP is being read and taken seriously in many quarters of the state and in a surprising number in other states. However, the primary reason for the existence of this publication is to give a voice to the members of the Montana University System. We have heard relatively little from those we are most eager to serve. We are especially interested in letters and commentaries dealing with any of the issues currently facing the MUS or the state. Our submission deadlines and publication months are:

The editors are interested in publishing a range of scholarly articles. If they have been published elsewhere but not widely read in Montana, we will arrange for permission to reprint. Anyone interested in submitting, or just discussing the MP, is urged to contact a campus representative on the editorial board (see below) or the editor:
