Mea Culpa

In our review of A Mathematican Reads the Newspaper in our fall issue the name of the author, John Allen Paulos was twice misspelled. The fault was not that of the reviewer, Richard Gillette, nor of the Book Review Editor, Paul Trout. Rather this unfortunate mistake was the sole responsibility of the senior editor, George Madden. My apologies to Prof. Paulos.
